Veterans Connect

Dignity for all veterans.

What if we could ensure no U.S. veteran had to suffer the degradation of becoming homeless? Veterans Connect was a 2012 initiative of Springwire in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Veterans Service Organizations in the Puget Sound to provide homeless veterans with a free personal voice mail number linked to timely, valuable community resources.

With this unique, proven, communication-tool, veterans accessed information and received regular contact about VA benefits, medical care, housing, employment, and more.

Please check back for more information about the results of this project.

Are you a veteran living in King, Pierce or Snohomish counties in Washington State?  Or do you work with an organization in these areas that serves veterans?  Would you like to get information about employment opportunities and community resources sent to you in your email? Sign up here for the Duffel Bag – a weekly email newsletter aimed at connecting you to the opportunities, services and support you are seeking.
